Jitendra joined Wilder Coe as an Audit Supervisor in 1991 and was promoted to Partner in 1996.
As an experienced General Practice Partner of Wilder Coe LLP, Jitendra is responsible for advising clients on a range of audit, accounts and general tax issues. He has a varied portfolio of corporate and personal tax clients covering many business sectors with particular expertise in the hotel and retail fashion sectors where he acts for a number of high net worth individuals with international presence.
In addition to General Practice work, his other areas of technical expertise include corporate finance, including due diligence on acquisitions and disposals and forensic accounting. Jitendra has undertaken a number of due diligence assignments for clients and also has experience of Reporting Accountants' work for a main market flotation of a client in the health and fitness sector where he acted as Joint Auditor and Reporting Accountant with a Big Four Firm in relation to the pre-flotation due diligence work.
Jitendra also heads up the firm’s India desk and has recently completed a specialist Executive Programme run by one of the top ranked business schools internationally, the prestigious IIM Ahmedabad, acclaimed as India’s Harvard. The Programme was intensive and gave invaluable practical insight into doing business with the Indian markets. As a result Jitendra built up a valuable network of contacts in India through his experience, aiding us and our clients in business dealings within the Indian market.
Recent special assignments include:
- advising on a £90 million refinancing package for a substantial hotel Group in Central London;
- advising on the £50 million sale of a substantial hotel in Central London; and
- acting as part of an expert witness team assisting the High Court of Justice in relation to a client's claim for damages against a major Utilities company, where substantial damages of £2.7m were awarded by the High Court.
Special achievements:
- In 2010 Jitendra came through a competitive selection process to be awarded a British Government full Scholarship to attend an Executive Programme at the IIM Ahmedabad, India’s Harvard, and ranked as one of the top business schools internationally.
