Sara Kang, who joined the firm in August, is a member of the Association of Tax Technicians and is working towards qualification as a Chartered Tax Adviser.

She brings almost 20 years’ tax experience to her new role, which includes the unusual combination of having worked for HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC), in private practice and in industry.

Sara spent 11 years with HMRC while her private sector experience includes working for “Big Four” accountancy firm Ernst & Young and for the multinational IT company Oracle Corporation. She has particular expertise group taxation, capital gains tax and share schemes.

In her role as senior tax manager, Sara will manage her own portfolio of clients as well as managing the tax department, which provides tax compliance, planning and consultancy services to both corporate and private clients.
