At Wilder Coe, a huge part of our ethos is to grow and develop strong and lasting relationships. This attitude is not only reflected in the longevity of our clients – with some having been with us for over 40 years – but also the loyalty of our long-standing staff, who have the opportunity to develop and progress their chosen career path with us.
As we watch our staff members move from trainees up through the management ranks, a part of their development is watching them build their own networks. The Young Professionals Network (YPN) was created in 2018 by two of our Audit Managers, who decided to host regular events across the year to build a list of contacts with the view of building their own client portfolios.
The purpose of the YPN is to nurture relationships with regular guests and, naturally, follow up any potential business development opportunities that may arise in the process. By mixing a variety of contacts together, our YPN events are becoming a successful platform for ambitious, upcoming professionals to take the next steps in their careers.
2019 has seen the YPN project grow further, with successful events hosted jointly with other firms; allowing ample opportunity for our guests to mingle with other like-minded experts, across a multitude of sectors.
Through informal pizza events and intimate forums, to big breakfast meetings and informative seminars, our Young Professionals Network will continue to grow and offer mid-tier management a platform for career progression.
If you are interested in attending our next YPN event or would like to work in partnership to host, then please get in touch with Chris Abbott and Caryl King.
