Robert provides clients with specialised, expert advice based on a wealth of experience in the areas of corporate finance, transactions including Mergers and Acquisitions, pre-floatation restructuring, fund raising and business financing. By drawing on his vast experience, Robert helps clients to achieve their aims and objectives by providing astute, bespoke advice and support as required.

Our clients also benefit from Robert’s wealth of expertise in supporting publicly listed companies, and his correspondingly clear and direct understanding of their unique requirements. Throughout his career, Robert has acted for a large number of public companies, including:

  • Non-Executive Chairman of Stirling Group Plc
  • Senior Independent Director of Hercules Property Services plc
  • Finance Director of Probus Estates plc
  • Finance Director of New Media Plc during its transition from Ofex to AIM
  • Finance Director of Hardy Amies Plc

Ian Saunders

Partner

Ian is expertly positioned to advise clients on all matters pertaining to Company Secretarial services and Company Formation. His ability to communicate the types of structure that are available to you, coupled with his professional understanding of which structure would benefit your business best makes his support a highly sought after commodity.

Ian advises companies of all sizes on compliance under the Companies Acts and UK governance; the drafting of resolutions and specialist share capital and Articles clauses, as well as providing insights on general aspects concerning company law. He also acts as the nominated company secretary for public companies and has experience of filling this role for AIM listed vehicles.

Ian has managed the Wilder Coe Statutory department since 1997 and became Partner in 2010. In addition, Ian served as a Director of Artaius Ltd, the specialist outsourcing, formation and company secretarial arm of the Wilder Coe group before its merger back into the Wilder Coe business.

Pauline Hudd

Partner

Pauline provides clients with practical advice and pragmatic solutions in relation to all aspects of stamp taxes. Her wide-ranging experience on corporate and real estate transactions means that she gives bespoke advice tailored to the needs of clients, whether they are major multi-nationals, financial institutions or individual investors.

She has a proven track-record in delivering outcomes on unwinding complex structures, working alongside lenders on re-financing projects and supporting corporate trustees and offshore lawyers in managing transactions across multiple jurisdictions.

She has also supported administrators and liquidators on assets disposals to realise value from property portfolios. In addition, she has worked extensively on public sector projects, ranging from urban regeneration to student accommodation out-sourcing. Her considerable expertise comes from her 14 years in practice at KPMG and through her previous role as Assistant Controller at HMRC Stamp Office.

Pauline joined Wilder Coe in March 2016 and was made Partner in September 2016.
