Following on from previous deal success in the Corporate Finance and M&A areas, we are delighted to have advised on 3 deals with a total value in excess of £1bn in the first half of this year.
The deal team, led by Jitendra Pattani and Pauline Hudd, along with Jamie Muirhead, delivered a series of complex transactions in the hotel sector, bringing together expertise in Tax and Financial Due Diligence, tax structuring, SPA completion account negotiation, and financial and tax technical analysis and support.
The team worked with the client, their lenders and other professional advisors to secure a refinancing with a leading International Private Equity lender, advising on both the structuring and the implementation, providing transaction support in working collaboratively with the other advisors to the client and lenders in ensuring that the deal got over the line.
In addition to this re-financing exercise, the team provided support to the client – a leading international independent hotelier – in bringing a prestigious London hotel to market, and providing transaction support throughout the deal, Wilder Coe led the sell-side Financial and Tax Due Diligence and provided advice on structuring and implementation, working closely with the Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) International Capital Markets Team.
The total value of the deals was in excess of £1bn.
The team provides advice across a variety of sectors and can tailor services to deal size. Jamie Muirhead led on the cross-jurisdiction acquisition of a circa £2m UK construction recruitment firm for a specialist French talent search organisation. Working together with Caryl King, the Wilder Coe team delivered on cross-border tax and buy-side Due Diligence.
Based in our London office, the Wilder Coe team has decades of combined experience in delivering corporate finance and M&A transactions, bringing together expertise in the areas of technical accounting advice, specialist deal services in corporate re-structuring and re-financing, all aspects of tax, including cross-border taxation, property taxes and tax structuring.
