Wilder Coe attends Stevenage Community Trust Annual Fundraiser

Our Wilder Coe team were delighted to attend Stevenage Community Trust’s annual Dinner & Dance on Friday 4th October. The black-tie gala helps fundraise for local charities in and around Stevenage and surrounding villages with a silent auction and raffle.

Faye Thompson, Head of Cloud Accounting said, “Our first appearance at the black-tie charity event was filled with excitement and suspense as the team focused on winning a pair of Oasis tickets but were narrowly outbid right at the final moment!

Whilst they didn’t take home the tickets, the evening was a fabulous success, and all proceeds went to support vital causes in the local community.”

Originally set up in 1990, Stevenage Community Trust brings local businesses and generous individuals together to support those less fortunate in the area; and over the past three decades has distributed over £2 million in grants to communities, families and individuals in crisis.

With Stevenage the home of our Accounting Support team since 1998, Wilder Coe has been a trusted accounting partner to many local businesses and organisations. The team focuses on delivering outsourced accounting services including bookkeeping, management reporting and VAT returns, alongside Payroll and HR outsourcing. Many clients work closely with Faye to develop and improve their cloud accounting technology for business growth.

Having joined Stevenage Community Trust earlier this year, Faye explains how Wilder Coe was keen to get involved. “We want to contribute actively within our local community and by partnering with the Trust we can help fund community projects, charities, and initiatives, whilst connecting with like-minded people and organisations.”

“As we progress with our ambitious business growth plans, our Hertfordshire office is expanding its profile to support more local businesses,” says Robert Bradman, Joint Managing Partner and Head of Accounting Support. “Becoming an active member of the Stevenage Community Trust is a positive step to getting more involved and helping the surrounding community.”
