On the evening of Thursday 11th July, several of the Stevenage-based Wilder Coe team members attended a vibrant summer party hosted by the Hertfordshire Chamber of Commerce in celebration of their centurion anniversary, sponsored by Sopwell House, Taylor Walton Solicitors and Oventrop. The event brought together professionals across various industries and backgrounds, within the Hertfordshire area, for an evening of networking, socialising, and fun. The beautifully landscaped gardens at Sopwell House provided a serene backdrop for relaxed conversations and connections.
The event began with Sopwell’s signature cocktails and a fantastic mix of street food, a live DJ and band played throughout the evening, and interactive games to facilitate networking, all centurion-themed. The atmosphere was vibrant and lively, with attendees mingling and some dancing to the music was even spotted at the end of the evening.
Attendees had the chance to participate in a raffle and prize giveaway, with exciting prizes up for grabs from spa days to Sunday dining to the home-brewed Sopwell House award-winning gin. The event’s primary goal of facilitating meaningful connections among attendees was achieved by making new contacts and friendships. The evening drew to a close with closing remarks from Donna Schultz (MD of HCC) Rafi Bejerano (Sopwell House) Steve Brougham (Oventrop) and Emily Waddell (Taylor Walton Solicitors).
Faye Thompson, Head of Cloud Accounting, said “A special thanks to the Herts Chamber of Commerce and Sopwell House for their hospitality, our team truly had a fun-filled summer’s evening. It was a fabulous backdrop to meet other Hertfordshire-based business owners and to showcase how Wilder Coe supports many local organisations. Our growing Stevenage presence is a vital element of the firm’s business strategy and we are incredibly proud of all our work within the county.”
