Having previously worked for HMRC, Tim Cook can use his insights to assist with HMRC investigations and ensure that you are informed at all times, and can offer you clear and simple advice throughout the process.
His technical areas of expertise include tax planning, pensions, emigration and trusts. Tim works with entrepreneurs, and families from a wide range of backgrounds, based both in the UK and overseas.
Tim Cook joined Wilder Coe in 1996 and was made Tax Partner in 2001.

Tax Partner
Jamie Muirhead joined Wilder Coe in August 2018 after graduating from the University of Cambridge with a degree in Natural Sciences. Jamie is a Chartered Tax Advisor and Chartered Accountant after completing the ACA/CTA joint programme with Wilder Coe in 2021. Jamie was promoted to Assistant Tax Manager in 2022 and now takes on the mantle of Tax Manager at Wilder Coe.
He has a portfolio of clients including non-UK resident company landlords, high-net-worth individuals, entrepreneurs, the self-employed and owner-managed businesses.
Jamie’s role means he advises and provides technical tax support across the business. His support has helped individuals, owner-managed businesses, and large corporate groups utilise tax reliefs to run their businesses efficiently and ensure they meet their compliance obligations.

- Employers with internationally mobile workers
Jamie is a keen tennis player and holds several voluntary and committee roles, including philanthropy work of the International Tennis Club of Great Britain.

With over 30 years of experience offering tax advice to individuals and their businesses, Mark focuses on complex advisory aspects of UK taxation not only for clients permanently based in the UK, but also for those either coming to or leaving the UK, or those living overseas with assets based in the UK.
Mark prides himself on building strong, long-standing relationships with his clients and proactively mitigating their tax exposure, whether in the short term or looking to the future. Mark joined Wilder Coe in April 2024 as an Associate Personal Tax Partner and stepped into the role of Personal Tax Partner in October 2024.

Sarah Simpson joined Wilder Coe in March 1996 and qualified as a Chartered Tax Advisor in 1998. She has a varied portfolio of clients consisting of high net-worth individuals including Lloyd’s names, self-employed individuals and Barristers. As well as completing annual tax returns, Sarah also assists her clients in any other matters which might arise.
Sarah Simpson has worked closely with Tax Partner, Tim Cook, since 1996 and strives to provide her clients with a friendly, professional and personal service.
